Diana Ross & The Supremes Brief History of Music Icons
It's amazing what an underrated band The Cult is, IMO She sells sanctuary alone is better than anything Guns 'n roses have ever released and yet GNR have 30m streams/month on Spotify while the Cult has 2m streams/month. Clearly I don't get it.
Estos hermanos tienen mucho talento me encantan sus canciones me trasportan a mi adolescencia Fantasticos❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
Magic band. Together Alone is another ❤
God Bless Bob Stigwood too!!!
God Bless Bee Gees. And Andy
i like playing guitar under the influence because of jimi. 27 club doesn’t sound bad
Yes The Gibbs Brothers will Always be Music Royalty To Me. I grew up on them. They were FAMOUS & KNOWN EVERYWHERE WAY BEFORE SAT NITE FEVER WAS EVER DREAMED UP. They were Just Right for The Times. And then there was one. But,,, he’s just too crazy talented & hard working to let it all go by the wayside . I’m Glad He’s Still Making Music!!! He Deserves to Reap Everything He’s Ever Sown!!! ❤ YOU GO BARRY GIBB!!!

The Gibb Family truly were blessed in Music&Song indeed.Such a very gifted family or professional performers, they truly were.
As 14 Iove Barry
I saw Theatre of Hate with Billy & Death Cult when they started in 83
The British love to thump their opinions on our treasured band’s. They have all of the answers. Why don’t they stay on their side of the pond and cover Wham, The Culture Club, The Smith’s?
No matter what we think of the Bee Gees, the fact of is we'll always envy their good fortune, of enjoying memories of their childhood years throughout their lives as brothers. As for Andy, what a great loss. Andy proved to be the required sacrifice for all the fame and glory. Out of such tremendous joy, some sorrow will come. Much like Icarus, the runt, born in a more vulnerable position, Andy becomes absorbed, and in the end engulfed, by it all, leading him, inevitably, far too close to the sun. When we think of famous entertainers, such as John Lennon (to name only one in proximity), and his eventual demise, we might also think of the Bee Gees in some similar fashion. RIP Andy.
I love the BeeGees more than any singing group ever.. it just seems like Andy was too young to be out there on his own..the other three had the closeness of there age..Andy was just not close enough in age to be able to share the strength of the experience... it was like he was on his own.. It was like he was a single. Kind of a scarey road.. Robin could understand that..he went off on his own and it was not what he wanted, he knew that it was a different experience..harder.
It honestly crazy how everybody in the music industry are on drugs and drinking
There are a lot of jazz guitar players better.
From 1979 Got it 👍

PERHAPS IM JUST A BIT CYNICAL, BUT, AFTER THE BUSTED BASIN PIPE,WHEN STILLS & NASH ATTEMPTED TURNIN IN A STILLS & NASH ALBUM THE COMPANY DIDNT WANT UNLESS THE CROZ WAS ON IT... KINDA CAUSES ONE TO WONDER. "WHAT IF" HAD THE LABEL ACCEPTED THE STILLS/NASH RECORD.... NOT THAT IM A OVER THE MOON CROZ FAN..BUT THESE GUYS HAVE MADE SOME GREAT,REALLY GREAT MISIC!!
What an illustrious story they have! I never knew that they started singing and performing as soon as they humanly possibly could! Amazing group
Everytime I re-watch one of these Biography type shows about the Brothers Gibb, I feel the magic of their music. There was just so much of it over such a long time. People my age literally grew up with these three guys. And we welcomed the talented “baby Bee Gee” Andy. It was almost interchangeable with his older brother Barry. Together they wrote and produced some great songs. I have allot of Bee Gees music on my phone and several of Andy’s songs also. It would have been such fun to see all four of them together on their “One” album, which I understand was the plan. And a great business move too. Andy would bring in allot of younger fans and he had enough of his own hits to take his turn singing lead. They were a highly talented money making machine where everyone wins. It’s sad to think what might have been. Even if only for a few more years.
I remember seeing them in the early 90’s . The lead singer had a cold they were still very good.
They are, and always will be generic
Tellement beau!!! Merci d'avoir produit ce video ♥
47:35 he'll always regreat his decision
❤
A hot icon ❤️🔥 him so freaking cool
I learned so much from this!! Jive Talkin was my jam as a preteen on my 45 Record❤ Love these guys 🥰
The letter T bands are phenomenal Triumph, Tragically Hip, Tesla, Thin Lizzy, and Testament.
They were the best of the best and their influence still goes on; their final Album in 2001 was fabulous. Their inluence did not end in the 1990's - by no means!
Until this day I still believe that Steve Carell is Alice Cooper alter ego 😅
I've been a fan since the first time I heard She Sells Sanctuary.....and all the way to this day...I didn't give a f#@k about who produced it. They've always been a favorite..any direction they went as a band
The first 6 songs they wrote were #1 hits. We will never see that again
Still here getting me some kd in my 77th year in April 2024. Shine on bright girl!
Glad Alice got cleaned up as he was going downhill fast!!❤❤❤❤
I'm just discovering this. You did an amazing job! 👏🏾
What a great history of the BeeGees. Their music transformed my world with their Saturday night album, which of course I had and wore down all the grooves on it!Awesome production on the documentary such great story telling. Thank your
3:00 she has no clue what she is talking about. Compared to contemporary bands Murmur sounds excellent and polished. Listen to any SST record of the time.
It's not INXS with Hutch imo
If anyone ever got to see him and the band in concert and afterwards get to meet and speak with him in person as I did years ago .youd know what a wonderful guy he was .the concert was in my hometown ,Lorain ,Ohio at the old palace theater .I told him I was a great lakes sailor and yes I was 25 year veteran of the U.S.Merchsnt Marine and Officer ,although at that time I wasn't ,he just smiled and asked me how I liked being a sailor and the job and I told Gordy I loved it .at the time I was really loving what I did ,I'm retired now after 25 years at sea ,he shook my hand and I told him what a huge fan of his ,same as father was he also add spent over 21 years on the great lakes .he told be to be careful and thanked me for the support .there will never be another Gordy ,it was so heart breaking when he left this world . By I still can't believe he is gone .but if your truly a huge fan then he's still doing his thing .miss you Gordon .thanks for the wonderful memory ,8 was blessed to have had such a great a honor of meeting you .,God Speed Gordon .
As far as I see it...Triumph is in contention for the best rock band in history.
They were compared to The Beatles, no offence to The Beatles, yes, they were great, but I found the BeeGees to be the greatest!
I love this.
Great band would love to see a reunion tour!!
They were and will be the best ever for me their voices the songs the music, their talent in songwriting ,their interaction with one another as brothers, shone through, the fun the jokes the laughter just phenomenal...they are legends .I liked the beatles back in the day, but for me I much preferred and prefer the Bee Gees music, I thank them for the hours of pleasure I have had and still have listening enjoying their music....its timeless ..
Que PORQUERÍA !!!!! Ésto NO ES ...INXS 💩💩💩💩
Trio? They were never a trio friend.
Pena ele ter morrido, marcou muito minha época cantor além de lindo cantava muito igual a ele nunca mais😢♥️
